If you had to pick one guy on the planet who has put out the most consistently savage video parts of all time, Dennis Enarson would most likely be that guy. It was a no brainer to have him judge this year's Vans The Circle contest...

What are you going to be looking for in 'The Circle' edits?
Something that I would want to watch over and over again. Good riding, good editing, music that fits the vibes, cool spots, and a crew that really gets down together and has a blast while doing it.
Which teams are you most excited to see videos from?
Honestly I can’t wait to watch all of them. It’s going to be rad getting to see crews all over the world shredding their spots.
How important has your local BMX community been to you?
It was everything and still is everything when I’m home. I had the best scene here in San Diego growing up, and now it has morphed into something unreal. So I can't shout out the SD BMX community enough.
You have some seriously heavy video parts under your belt. How do you deal with the stress and fear on the bigger clips?
Thanks, handling a really intimidating set up is probably my favorite thing about riding over the last 10 years. You just have to be really patient. Usually the big stuff is the easiest and funnest. You just can’t mess up or you won’t be riding the next day. So I would just say take your time and make sure you are warmed up, 100% confident, and ready to go on that day and at that moment. If you aren’t, its better just to leave it alone and just come back when you are ready. When riding big setups you just have to be really careful and prepared, its the best shit ever, you just really can’t mess up. So be patient and prepared for whatever you want to get down on. Confidence, patience, and preparation are key.
The Circle teams don’t have as long to film as most would for a usual video part. Have you ever been on a tight filming deadline, and how do you deal with it?
Ya, I’ve done some team video contest with short deadlines. I would just say film whatever you are feeling every time you go out. Don’t be too picky, you can filter through what to use and what not to use when its time to start editing. Have fun and stay healthy the whole way through, you guys got this!
