Meet the Crew: ACTION WHEELS - MADRID, SPAIN

Meet The Shop Owner: Ricardo Serrano

Can you give us a brief history of your store?

Our store opened back in 1997, it was the first BMX-only store, BMX was small back in the day. I brought parts from the USA and I knew all the customers as the scene was small and way different from how it is nowadays. BMX has grown since then and it has a lot of potential to grow bigger.

What type of riders are part of your community and what makes your community so special?

There are many hardcore riders in Madrid that really love BMX. Madrid is a city that is really hot in summer and freezing in winter and since there are not indoor bike parks, riders have a hard time riding their bikes, but against everything they keep riding hardcore and pushing their limits. Madrid has tons of great spots for street - you’ll definitely see some good ones on our video!
